Missing "Preffered DTLS Tunnel" in FortiClient VPN for Linux

I'm using FortiClient VPN on my virtual machine with Linux Mint (ubuntu).

I'm using NAT mode for my virtual machine and with such settings - FortiClient VPN for Linux (v7.0.0.0018) is not able to connect to remote server.

I'm receiving such error:

NOTICE::Insufficient credential(s). Please check the password, client certificate, etc.
STATUS::Set up tunnel failed
SSLVPN down unexpectedly with error:2
STATUS::Setting up the tunnel
Press Ctrl-C to quit
Clean up...

In my opinion - this message is a root cause:

STATUS::Set up tunnel failed

What is the most funny - in Windows working as virtual machine in NAT mode - with FortiClient VPN (v6.4.1.1519) - there is no problem with connection.

I've noticed a difference in settings between FortiClient VPN for Linux and Windows.

Windows version has such option:

"Preffered DTLS Tunnel"

In Llinux FortiClient VPN there is no such option.

I've noticed also such message in my FortiClient:

"Upgrade to the full version to access additional features and receive technical support." - but there is no "full version" for LInux.

Dear FortiNet Support - how can I purchase full version for linux to have option "Preffered DTLS Tunnel" ??

I can purchase full version - but tell me how should I do it.

Please also provide information why in Linux version of FortiCllient there is no option: "Preffered DTLS Tunnel" ???

Here you can find difference between Linux and Windows versions of FortiClient

Windows:

I would be grateful for any information how to enable: "Preffered DTLS Tunnel" option in Linux version of FortiClient VPN

Regards

Marcin

Dear _Marcin_,

I have found this documentation:

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/7.0.0/administration-guide/682005/vpn-options

Could you please have a loot and tell me if it helped?

If not, we will find another solution to your question.

Regards,

Anthony,

I'm using FortiClient VPN for Linux - and in section "VPN options" - there is no such option:

"Preffered DTLS Tunnel"

Such option is only in Windows version of FortiClient VPN - and from Windows it's working fine.

Problem is only with LINUX version of FortiClient VPN.

You can see details in attached screenshots (difference between "VPN Options" for LInux and Windows):

Linux:

Windows:
https://ibb.co/8xCc8hk

Is any FortiClient VPN Linux version available with Option: "Preffered DTLS Tunnel" ?

Regards

Marcin
