Hello vyvisal,

have you done any kind of troubleshooting on the FortiGate?

-> verify what policy is applied on the FortiGate

-> disable UTM features (like Antivirus, IPS, AntiSpam) on that policy to verify which one might be causing the issue

-> disabled offloading in the policy (https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Disabling-NP-offloading-in-security-policy...)

These steps should help you narrow down what settings on FortiGate might be interfering.

From there, it would be easier to find a solution :)

Regards,
Aman

Check your internet connection.
Check your SMTP server details.
Verify all usernames and passwords.
Check your SMTP server connection.
Change your SMTP port.
Control your antivirus or firewall settings.
