Fortigate SNMP

I have fortigate firewalls 200 firewall configured SNMP. I am able to perform snmp MIB walk but unable to monitor the CPU and Memory utilization. I have defined the following OID but still doesn't seem to populate the data, CPU always shows 0 and Memory 18.

OID:   .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.1.3.0     Current CPU usage (percentage).
OID:   .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.1.4.0     Current memory utilization (percentage).

I have set the same OID but doesn't work. I need to monitor CPU and RAM

The OID you are using are the correct ones:

fgSysCpuUsage - .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.1.3.0
fgSysMemUsage - .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.1.4.0

If the FGT is not yet in production the low CPU and constant value of memory is the normal behavior.

You can check if the values that you get via SNMP are the same as your see from the output of this CLI command:

# get system performance status

Please compare the CPU/Memory values seen under "get system performance status" to confirm if SNMP is showing correct values or not.

FGT # get system performance status
CPU states: 0% user 0% system 0% nice 100% idle 0% iowait 0% irq 0% softirq
CPU0 states: 0% user 0% system 0% nice 100% idle 0% iowait 0% irq 0% softirq
CPU1 states: 0% user 0% system 0% nice 100% idle 0% iowait 0% irq 0% softirq
Memory: 4057460k total, 925632k used (22.8%), 2781636k free (68.6%), 350192k freeable (8.6%)

Please refer the attached output, I do not see any historical graphs.

if you can get 1 for .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.1.3.0

and 18 for .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.1.4.0

I think that SNMP is showing the exact information.

As per this the CPU usage is 1% and Memory usage is 18%, which matches with the SNMP values, I would say it is working as expected.
You can check the Fortigate GUI dashboard , CPU graph for last 24 hours to see the CPU usage and compare that with SNMP.
