I am having the exact same issue. I think it has something to do with Maccleaner Pro or similar software- running a "clean cache" and / or "clean up" application which has removed some software needed for Forticlient and some other applications.
Does anyone know what might have been deleted and any idea how to check and re-instate whatever was cleaned?
Been reading through these replies and I haven't noticed a fix for this issue. Did I miss it, or is there no fix at this time. My client is running macOS Mojave Version 10.14.6 and gets a white screen using the latest VPN only client. Also gets just a connecting notice using 6.4.9
