FortiExtender 20B won't update from 2.0.3 to any other build

Hello everyone,

We currently have a FortiExtender 20B connected to a FortiGate 100D as WAN backup. I tried to upgrade from v2.0.3 to v3.0.1, but after a reboot the displayed version is still v2.0.3 (build 12). No error message is displayed and no log can be found. Trying to upgrade to different versions such as 3.0.0 or updating through either the FortiGate or FortiExtender GUI fail silently.

Has anyone else had this kind of problem with a FE20B or has anyone got any tips in general?
