FSSO DC agent version

we upgraded to FortiOS 7.2.7 in end Feb, is it a must to also upgrade the FSSO DC agent ?

current DC agent is 5.0.0302

As the release document said, FortiOS 7.2.7 is compatible with DC agent 5.0.0.0312.

But generally, the FSSO DC agent doesn't have a big update. They just change minor things. Because of that in my opinion you can use your DC agent without an update. If you see any problem with sync, in that case, you can upgrade your DC agent.

Also, I found community discussion about this. Fortinet staff same idea as me.
