Hi Team,

I see an user created in our Firewall and has the EMail Based 2 Factor Authentication for his FortiClient access. User wanted to re-send the FortiToken Activation QR code email. May i know how to do this?

Regards,

Hello @ssan239 ,

If you use email-based 2fa you don't need to send an activation code to the user. Because email-based 2fa sends mail to users with every connection request.

If you use the FortiToken mobile app as a 2FA. You can follow this document to resend the activation code to the user. Or you can unassign and reassign a FortiToken from the user. This movement will have the same effect.

to resend the Fortitoken activation QR code to the user again, you will need to remove fortitoken from that user and reprovision it.
