Can captive portal expiration be set to several days?

I would like to allow the users in our company to connect to the guest network with their phones, but having to enter the user / password every day is a pain.

I saw that there are a couple of variables that can be set, specially auth-timeout (here the document) and be set to a value of 24h.

Is there any way to set it to a value higher than this? The 1440 would allow a user to relogin only after the weekend, but if possible I'd like to set it something like 96h.

You may try it on latest FOS v5.4.2 version (No release yet).

It extend to 3 days on "config user group"

set authtimeout ? authtimeout Enter an integer value from <0> to <4320>.

Thanks.

Ok thanks for your answer, we aren't prepared yet to make the jump to the 5.4, but I'll remember this to make the changes when we're there.

I upgraded my 50E and 60E to 5.4.2 and I don't have this option. Did this option not get released yet? My users would love if they wouldn't have to log in after the weekend.

Hi Chrisn,

I check it, it does not check in on 5.4.2, it go to 5.6.0.  Thanks.
