A Question about IP Pools

Hi,

I have a block 8 IP internet from ISP.

I create IP pools for block 8 IP internet, and internal IP: 192.168.1.10.

When internal machine get request from internet with this IP pools, and at a time, can get request from multipe IP internet or map one to one IP internet?

Sorry for my English.

Help me please, thank you very much.

hi,

and welcome to the forums.

If you want that one can reach an internal server from the internet (incoming) then you use a VIP = virtual IP. It translates external to internal IP address. The correct term is 'destination NAT'.

VIPs usually work one-to-one (external address to internal address). If you have multiple external addresses which all should go to one internal address then create multiple VIPs, all to the same internal address, and put them into one VIP group. Use this group as the destination address in a policy 'wan' -> 'internal'.
