It will work. Here I am creating an aggregate with a copper and SFP port (note the different icons)

I don't know any specificity of 501E or the old 6.0.6 software. But it should work. At least we did in the past when we were running probably 6.2.x and we moved a pair of LAG/LACP ports from RJ45 to SFP. Adding the SFP ports to the LAG first then removed the RJ45 ports. It was between a 1500D HA cluster and a Juniper switch.

Can you refer to the admin guide to ensure the interfaces can be joined in an aggregate?

thanks for the answer, I read the documentation, but I would like to understand whether it will work, based on experience
