Description This article describes how to resolve the FortiSOAR upgrade error 'Some of the FortiSOAR Modules changes are not published yet'.
Scope FortiSOAR v7.x.
Solution

When attempting to upgrade from an older version to a newer one, failures may occur with an error message indicating, 'Some of the FortiSOAR Modules changes are not published yet.'

Before commencing the FortiSOAR upgrade, it is crucial to ensure that all modules are in the published state.

Here are quick four steps to resolve this issue:

  1.  Identifying Unpublished Modules using FortiSOAR GUI: Modules with an asterisk (*) in front are unpublished modules.
  2. Publishing Modules in FortiSOAR: Select the 'Publish All Modules' button.

  1. Discarding All Changes and Reverting to the Last Published Modules State: Select the 'Revert All' button to discard all changes.

  1. Verification Before Initiating the Upgrade Process: Ensure that there are no unpublished modules (asterisk before the module name) in the modules editor.

Proceed with the FortiSOAR upgrade process as per the upgrade path suggested in the Official FortiSOAR documentation.

Consult with the FortiSOAR system admin to obtain the appropriate approval for publishing modules or discarding changes in the modules.
