Description


This article describes about collecting Persistent Agent debug logs in Windows machines for troubleshooting purposes.


Solution


The following log files are created on the host computer upon installation of the Persistent Agent:

Agent 3.x and 4.x:
stderr.txt
stdout.txt
bndaemon_log.txt

Agent 5x:
general.txt
bndaemon_log.txt

On Microsoft Vista and later, these files are located in the following directory:
%ProgramData%\Bradford Networks

On Microsoft XP, these files are located in the following directory:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%Application DataBradford Networks

Attach these files to the case.  Upon submission, add a case comment with the following information:

  • Details regarding the symptoms experienced, including any error messages.
  • Steps taken that resulted in the symptom.
