DescriptionThe Persistent Agent becomes hung and cannot establish communication.
Communication between a Persistent Agent and NAC is established by first securing the connection via SSL. There are times when the SSL connection may not complete. The agent waits indefinitely for the connection and eventually hangs.
Symptoms include the following on a given host:
Logged on User information not available
Scans do not run
Cannot send message
"Lost Contact with Persistent Agent" events
"Persistent Agent Scan Not Performed" events

Solution: Addressed in agent version 5.0.2 and above. Refer to the latest Agent Release Notes and upgrade instructions.
