Solution
  1. Make sure the account intended for deletion is not currently logged into.

  2. Ensure there is no session running from that admin user:

get system admin list <- Check whether admin users are logged in or not.

If the admin user is shown in the list, disconnect the session in order to delete the administrator account.

  1. To delete the administrator account, run the following command:

execute disconnect-admin-session <number> <- Replace the number with the admin user sequence number.

This command will successfully remove the running session for that specific admin user. It can then be deleted.

  1. Try deleting the admin user from the GUI. This should complete successfully.
