Enable the FortiLink option from the CLI.
config system interface FGT(interface) # edit Hardware_Switch FGT(Hardware_Switch) # set fortilink enable FGT(Hardware_Switch) # end
The difference will be visible, once the option has been enabled through the CLI.
The benefit of using hardware switch instead of link aggregate to manage switches is that in an HA active-passive cluster, the FortiSwitches can be connected in a cascading manner without MC-LAG config. |
