This article describes what will happen if the Crashlog exceeds its maximum line number.
FortiGate.
If the FortiGate Crashlog reached its maximum line number, FortiGate will simply overwrite the new crash log and will remove the old Crashlog line, so the new logs will still be able to save.
In the example image, the FortiGate has only a maximum line number of 16384 and the FortiGate has already reached the maximum line.
In the second image, the FortiGate saved the new crashlog and removed the old line number.
Note:
The FortiGate maximum Crashlog line number will still depend on Hardware capacity.
