I need to deploy Fortigate VM on Azure production environment.

What is the first step, where i can study it?

Hi

I followed Azure web course and some videos about VM fortigate on Azure enviroment.

When i deploy Fortigate VM I can set as protected interface the virtual network (vnet) in production, but which Ip subnet can i set in external interface (public) and internal interface?

Hi @marco16 ,

It depends on your configuration. You can think of Fortigate as the bridge you put between these networks. When the protected network wants to go to the internet, it will need to go to Fortigate. From now on, Fortigate will forward this request to the internet subnet you have defined. In fact, it is enough for this internet subnet to have access to the internet.
