This article describes the command to enable FortiAP-C compatibility on FortiGate.

Solution
FortiAccessPoint-C compatibility with FortiGate is not enabled by default. To enable FortiAccessPoint-C in FortiGate use the following command:
config wireless-controller setting
set fapc-compatibility enable
end
fapc-compatibility also enables the FortiAP profiles for FAPC24JE, FAP431FL, FAP433FL, FAP231FL and FAPU231G on FortiOS 7.4.X.
