WhatsApp Vulnerability Patched
WhatsApp, the private messaging app, is becoming quite a popular target for attackers and governments to spy on users. The app is used by 1.5 billion people globally.
While it touts itself as secure end-to-end encryption, many security issues have been discovered. Earlier this year a zero-day vulnerability was found and was exploited, allowing hacker to inject spyware onto victims phones.
And now, Facebook just patched a new vulnerability that could allow remote-code-execution or DDoS on victims. Patch!
