Technical Note: Internal captive portal users unable to connect with message the account is not authenticated from this station
Description
Internal captive portal users are unable to connect to the network. A message on the WiFi client show:
“The account is not authenticated from this station”
The station logs on the controller show:

Scope
Infrastructure WiFi Controller all Models, all firmware.
Solution
Check the Guest user account validity. If it has expired then extend the validity. The users should now be able to connect to the network successfully.
