What is the traffic overhead between the AP and the Controller?

Solution
The overhead is dependent on different variables;
For example, the amount of client traffic traveling through the AP and the number of stations that are in listening range of the AP.
For planning purposes, overhead is approximately 1% of client traffic on the AP in a reasonably high-density situation (for example, when 30-40 clients can be heard by the AP). This is not significant overhead. Additionally, this overhead will be further reduced in future releases of Meru software using code optimization.
