QUESTION: What are the ports need to be opened for SA box.

Scenario:

I want to connect EzRF to a remotely located controller, are you able to provide details on the ports that we’d need to open in the remote firewall to allow the SA to communicate with the controller.

Solution

1. Open port 5000 bi-directionally between controller and Network Manager.
2. Open SSH between the Meru Service Appliance and the controllers that will use Network Manager.
3. Open the https port between controller and Network Manager.
4. Open the SMTP port between the Network Manager and the SMTP server.
5. Open the http port between the Network Manager and the browser.
