Meru Technical Note - License Validation Failure. 'Error: License doesn't support this feature'

Receiving the following error while uploading the license.

ERROR: Validation of the licenses failed. License manager returns the following - Error: License server doesn't support this feature. The feature has expired or has not yet started.

Any Meru service that relies on certificates - be it licensing, SSL, etc. can be severely impacted if the system time & date are not properly set. If the appliance cannot be connected to the Internet for NTP settings (or to an internal NTP server) then set the date/time manually. Incorrect time could easily cause problems decrypting the license-key file.
