How to configure IE to work with IDM-SSO?

Solution
Please note that SSO works only on the intranet and on trusted URLs (server certificate should be installed/verifiable on the client)!
- First open, Internet Options under the Tools menu in IE.
- Browse to the Security tab, choose Local Intranet and click on Sites.
- Check "Automatically detect Intranet network" and click on Advanced.
- This opens a dialogue where the FQDN of the SSO server (in this case, the IDM URL) can be added.
- Go back to the Security tab and click on Custom Level.
- Browse to User Authentication in the Popup list, and under Logon - choose Automatic logon only in Intranet zone
- For IE-6 and later, it is required to manually enable SPNEGO-SSO
- Under the Advanced tab, check Enable Integrated Windows Authentication.
