Solution
If suppose the number of AP license on a controller needs to be increased then it is just a matter of importing the license file to the controller. This was the case in the SD version of 4.0 and above.
However on the older versions of 3.6 and prior releases, the number of license is not calculated in a cumulative way as done in the newer versions. Instead, the whole license file needs to be replaced with the new license file.
For example, if the number of AP count license is 100 and if the customer wants to add another 50 AP license then the existing license file needs to be replaced with the new license file with the AP count of 150. Uploading the additional file will only replace the existing license file.
