Solution
Query about connecting AP320i in a remote location.
We can connect the AP in a remote location by configuring it in L3 mode. Over the WAN the AP will be able to find the controller if the ports 5000, 9292, 9393 are not blocked.
Stations connected to that AP will have access to the network resources available at that site where the controller is located.
We can also have a ESS profile configured for Bridged Profile, Only the management frames will be going to the controller and the data packets will go out through the WAN of the remote site.
