AP332’s are not enabled online with HP2530 switch.

The AP332’s seem to have LLDP issues and don’t come enabled online with HP2530 switch even after changing the switch interface “Allocation” from “usage” to “value”.

Below is the additional configuration change needed on the HP2530:

> conf

#int X-Y

#poe-lldp-detect disabled

#power-over-ethernet critical

#poe-allocate-by value

#poe-value 25

After the changes the made, disable and enable the switch port

#disable

#enable

#exit

Save the configuration

#wr mem

 Shutdown the POE port and enable it again.

#int int X-Y

#no power-over-ethernet

#power-over-ethernet

#exit

After these steps, the AP 332’s come enable online and are stable.
