Wondering how to export all the settings and configuration in case we
need to replace the fortigate 60e hardware? Basically we need some kind
of disaster recovery plan.. Or is the fortigate fairly bullet proof?
Ours has been running 24/7 for four yea...
I found out our IP was banned and after looking at the logs in FortiGate
I saw a raspberry pi doing SSH attacks per below. I unplugged it from
the network as I could not even log into it. Seems the virus was clever
enough to change the password. Any ...
I've inherited a fortigate 60E in a business location. The owners say
every few months people can't connect to the wifi network. The business
gets dozens of people a day who connect to the Wifi. So my suspicion is
the Fortigate is hitting some limit ...
I've inherited a rack system with a Fortigate 60e that was setup by some
other company. I am trying to understand how they created a static IP (
192.168.1.51 ) for a raspberry pi video camera device sitting in the
site. When I go to "Addresses" I see...

I will change it to 1 day ( 86400 ) unless you think otherwise . I know
you mentioned 30 minutes, but seems 1 day should work, no?
Correct. I am mainly interested to know how to assign static ips to some
devices in the center. Do I go to DHCP Monitor -> Right mouse click on
the device -> "Create DHCP reservation" -> "OK" ? I want the IP to be
permanent even after a complete powe...
I don't think I see any options for DHCP lease in our GUI. However, I am
not sure I am looking at the right place. In the guide you linked to it
says, "On low-end FortiGate units, a DHCP server is configured on the
internal interface". So if I "Edit"...
Thanks, I am using this version of the GUI. I am very nervous about
making any changes via command line as I don't want to risk breaking
anything.. Would prefer if I can post screenshots of what I want to do
before actually doing them :)
