That is correct, unfortunately. FCT 7.4.3 will be the last version that
comes with free version. This means if anyone facing this issue and do
not have a EMS license, they can only use FCT 7.2.9 or 7.4.1 then.

To my knowledge, there is no such thing as 'pre-populate username and
password', there is only 'save username' and 'save password' option.
User will need to need to manually input them at least one time for FCT
to remember it.
Thanks for your input. I believe OP should be able to save a basic
regular IPsec VPN (IKEv1 or IKEv2), but not a [IPsec over TCP] tunnel
