Hi Simon I agree, that it does test email alerts. When settings are
correct, test-alertmail will be sent.I have no idea how to test
smtp-settings. Best way is, to send testmail. When it works settings are
fine. If not, change settings. Marc

depending Reference to your FortiOS-Release.The command i posted is
correct. Probably there is something wrong in your settings. Regards

Hi CB As long as I know, FortiOS 5.4.x is still full of bugs. Some major
settings don't work in GUI, so you have to change them in CLI-Console.
The whole IPsec VPN you have to setup on CLI, because GUI-Settings will
not match. I run very successfully...
