ForiTokens help deliver strong and flexible multi-factor authentication
Overview
FortiToken helps prevent breaches that occur due to compromised user accounts and passwords by increasing the certainty of the identiy of users attempting to access resources. To achieve multi-factor authentication (MFA), FortiToken integrates with FortiAuthenticator and FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls and is part of the Fortinet Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution.
Multiple Authentication Methods
FortiToken allows organizations to deploy a variety of token methods including one-time passwords, SMS tokens, and adaptive authentication. For even greater security, FortiToken lets you provide passwordless authentication for users based on FIDO and FIDO2 specifications.
Easy Deployment and Management Options
FortiToken offers out-of-the-box interoperability with any time-based OATH-compliant authentication server such as FortiAuthenticator. In addition, it can be used directly with FortiGate NGFWs, including with high availability configurations. FortiToken Cloud enables businesses of all sizes to manage their token implementations for FortiAuthenticator and FortiGate from anywhere there is an internet connection.
Variety of Token Form Factors
FortiToken provides a variety of form factors to meet any need.
- FortiToken 410 is a FIDO-certified USB security key that supports U2F and FIDO2 protocols
- FortiToken Mobile is an application for iOS or Android that acts like a hardware token but is accessed on a mobile phone
- FortiToken 310 is a USB device that is physically connected to the user's computer to be used for client certificate-based authentication
- FortiToken 210 series provides affordable, easy-to-implement hardware tokens to support environments where strong authentication is needed
