Hi Dear All, I have a setup of netwotk as IPSec VPN sites connecting to Fortigate 200, I am connecting three countries and I have Video Conference setting as taken from Vidyo who' s server is on the public network.. I have configured a shaper Video-Conf with some 1 Mbps out of total 8 Mbps guaranted bandwdith with per policy seeting. I then create a firwall policy with source as local LAN and destination as All applying the given shaper. It the top of my firewall policies I had VPN Policies and on the policies related to internet on put the given policy on top. My question is wether I have correctly configured QoS and wether it will work with the given policy at the given location?? Thanks you all Guys

Your doing it right, move it to the top of the policy order. Apply the shaper for guarantee BW Qs: What do you mean destination ALL, is your video conference a site2site video conference system? How much bandwidth have you allocated for signalling and video stream Does your systems allows for automatic throttle back on video quality ( bandwidth ) if the path can not sustain the requested bandwidth

Intranet to VPN Zee VPN Zee to Intranet Intranet to Internet policy 1(for video conference) shaper applied here Intranet to Internet policy 1(for web browsing) . . implicit deny Now I am needed to move my policy to top ? Your Q' s Ans: 1-- my video conference is not point to point. As I have 2--conference room in bubai, one in kuwait and one in bahrain, all can make video conference with any one. What I am responsible for is the one site in dubai using fortigate 200 and z corporate HQ 2. I had 8Mbps Uplink out of which I took 1 Mbps in shapper as shapper: Video-conf,,guaranted bandwith 1000Kbps, I made the only the service h323 allowed for in the give firewall policy. 3- icant understand this Q. thanks
