website block (www.pagalworld.com.se) not working

I need to block the website www.pagalworld.com.se. I have already tried blocking the streaming media and download categories, as well as the bandwidth consumption group and override URL filter, but the site is still accessible. Please help me resolve this.

hi,

according to https://www.fortiguard.com/webfilter , the url falls into general interest / web hosting.

have you tried creating static url entry in the webfilter profile and blocking it, https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Using-a-static-URL-filter-feature-to-allow... ? ofc the webfilter profile should be applied to a firewall rule.

already done but not working

do you have a valid UTP/webfiltering contract activated on the fw?

does the fw rule have ssl inspection and a profile applied ?

try looking into this tshoot kb, https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Troubleshooting-Tip-FortiGuard-Web-Filtering-problems/ta...

Web filtering contract is activated and reachability is up. What is the next troubleshooting step?

funkylicious

besides checking the validity of the contract/correct implementation of the fw rule and reachability to fortiguard, you also have in the kb link above some debug commands that you can run while trying to access the site and see what the fortigate actually 'sees' and why/how it handles the traffic.

After blocking the QUIC protocol, it was blocked, but after some time, it's opening again. What is the next procedure?

You can use web rating override feature to accomplish this task. Please go though below thread.
