wan optimization on hyperv vm64

Hi guys,

Im struggling to get the Wan optimization feature under System -> Feature Visibility. We are running firmware 5.6.3 on Hyperv 2016.

We added an additional hdd for the fortigate. So theres one disk for logging and one disk for wanopt.

When we do the same on Vmware, we are able to switch on Wan optimization.

Any ideas why this isn't working on Hyper-V?

What I'v seen so-far is that the disk under under Vmware shows as "type ssd" and under Hyper-V is just shows "type as hyperv msft".

We tested with Vmware and Hyper-v on the same hardware.
