unable to use token on a diffent FortiGate

Hello everybody, I removed a TK200 Token on one FortiGate, because I need it now on a diffent one. But I' m not able to activate it there. I get the error: " Activation of FortiToken FTK20015WRGxxxxx failed, because token already activated, and seed won' t be returned." Do I have to de-activate it somehow beforehand? If so, how do I do that? I already deleted it on the old FortiGate. Regards, Gerald

I dont think you can move around a FortiToken without contacting support.

Open a support ticket and they' ll be able to reset that token for you.

First of all: Thanks for your quick answers. I could not open a ticket. ;-( Both Fortigates (old one and new one) are out of support. In Detail: It is not possible to open a ticket on a fortitoken. You have to open the ticket on the FortiGate, but you need a valid support contract to do so. So I called support on the telefone, ' cause I hoped, they could, but they don' t. So I' ll order a new contract now, which is probably a good idea for many other reasons. Regards, Gerald
