unable to resolve hostname
when pinging an IP in FG' s CLI, packets are received...
but when pinging a site like google.com, it gets " Unable to resolve hostname"
why is that?
the weird thing is the users behind the FG can load webpages just fine
i' ve only put 8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.2 as the DNS
help pls?
using 100D running on V4 patch 15...

Match the DNS servers on the FGT with the ones the clients use, then you should get the same results.
System > Network > DNS (on V4.3.x)

I have same problem and able to resolve it by untick "override dns" in your port interface setting. Make sure use default fortiguard DNS.
