I've downloaded the Forticlient VPN ONLY (.deb) for my Ubuntu machine, and installed it, but when I'm trying to create a connection I'm not able to see the IPsec VPN option there.

I searched on google it says i'll get it if i have some device but i don't have anything like that.
I don't have have a fortigate device as well.
Actually if you see the whole conversation, i needed to setup IPsec in my forticlient VPN, so this is the alternate way i was trying out...so can i do the same without any device?

You will need a Fortigate to use the Forticlient SSL VPN.

Yes, it is a firewall(Fortigate) where you need to configure the ipsec dial up setting to connect the forticlient vpn.
