unable to download PDF

Hi everyone,

FortiEMS v7.2.2 build 0879

Fortigate v7.0.14 build0601

I encounter a problem when I try to download a PDF file like this exemple : dummy.pdf

I did not receive any message about the download.

I can bypass using private navigation on firefox

I don't know if it is about a plugin, the web filter or other

Have someone already face this issue?

If the file can be opened in private browsing from the same host/browser, than this is an indication that it's not filtered by EMS or FGT. It looks like some browser plugin may break the pdf file download/open process.

I'm leaning towards the answer above, but I'm not sure yet. I'm currently facing a similar issue. By the way, I’m currently using https://pdfguru.com/webp-to-png WEBP to PNG Converter, as it supports over 20 file types and is also very convenient for editing and working with PDF files. This editor works on many operating systems, including mobile devices, so it’s a good solution if you encounter any issues with your browser or PC.
