It seems that you need to install a different forticlient version.

Are you using Forticlient VPN or Forticlient EMS? Also, if you could please share FortiOS version and the OS where you are trying to install it.

thanks man. it gives me the same error with the vpn version. im just a dude by himself using it in his own pc. i loved forticlient so much. i miss login on to my computer and being denied access to all the nasty stuff on the internet with the error webpages. i miss it dearly.

i use windows 7 64bit

im trying to install version 7.0.5

ive had the 6.0.10 version for almost 3 years

i need forticlient like air to breath man god damnit do i miss it or what?

thanks a ton dude

Verifying the release notes of the forticlient versions, even version 7.0 should be compatible with your environment. It seems that the installer can't download the full file correctly. Please check your private messages.

You should try the offline installer. Here is where it is in the support portal:offlineFCT.PNG

I would contact your IT admin, as they will have the corresponding contract and be able to download it for you.

thanks man. i have no idea what an IT admin is. i had to just google it. like i said im just a guy in his apartment using forticlient in his own pc by himself, to help fight severe screen and other addictions related to it. anyways carlosaleman contacted me on private. ive answered him and looking for his reply. thanks again i hope it will get fixed and i can have forti again

Ahhhh okay. Generally FortiClient is for VPN access to a FortiGate device. I had no idea that it had options like that for end-users.

Let me know if you need any help if the other person doesn't reply.

hey guys. thanks a lot for the help. i would be verty grateful if you could tell me which tablets i should allow/click next/check in, and which should remain unchecked/blank (marked as "1"). the image next to it, marked as "2" is a screenshot i took few days ago right before uninstalling forticlient. i knew id may be handy. what should i choose on "1" to have forticlient exactly like ive had it? it  blocked(automatically obviously)adult sites, gun sites or whatever, etc. ive had some exclusions that i have manually added- for extra sites i wanna block, or specific ones i wanna ALLOW. again, i took the screenshot right before deleting forticlient. the black part is the sites that i hid for the sake of this very image. i hope the screenshots help to give you an idea of what i "need" of forticlient. im not computer savy whatsoever. i actually use another program to help me fight screen addiction; just tryina emphasise how much it matters to me.

thanks again
