traffic connections bidirectional

Hello All, I am curious to know if there is any way to check the return connection path for any given traffic that is allowed. Will the diag sniff packet " " provide such information. Thanks in advance!

By default Packet Sniffing will sniff packets in both directions i.e. it will sniff every SYN-ACK packet for every SYN packet.
