switch mode to interface mode
i try to change switch mode to interface mode from on virtual appliance i try in first step after install it directly i did after assign IP and before the command was
config system global
set internal-switch-mode interface
the error was
command parse error before 'internal-switch-mode'
command fail. return code -61

Hi, firstly make sure that there is no any firewall policy that is associated with the lan/switch

yes there is no any policy its fresh install virtual appliance but after install i found default deny policy and its never allow to delete

Also remove any references to DHCP scopes and routes.

You can ignore default DENY policies, they don't count in this context.

May I kindly suggest you check the Interface tab on the GUI? There is a nice column called "Ref." which shows you which references exist for the interfaces.

i means first step after install Virtual appliance i login to console then run the command
config system global set internal-switch-mode interface
then i found the error even before configure management port can i have the command how to delete the defualt dhcp scope?
is have to configure the ports and then delete the dhcp scope?
