Hi all,
We are looking at moving sites to SD-WAN. They are in FortiManager with non SD-WAN settings. Is there any guides on how to migrate from non SD-WAN setting to SD-WAN settings?
Do I need to build the SD-WAN zone and health checks then do the policies separately?
any support will be appreciated?
Not sure if this is the best or "official" guidance but for brownfield deployments I find it much easier to leave it on individual FortiGate SD-WAN configuration rather than re-deploying all of the templates from scratch. For greenfield deployments though, definitely go with SD-WAN Central Management. Unless something has drastically changed in later versions, you essentially have to re-create all of your SD-WAN settings as templates, it gets messy quick.
