Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I have the same problem on v5.0,build0292 (GA Patch 9). For some reason when a user searches "porn" it will first come up and say that safe search is enabled but on google image search, the user is able to turn safe search off and see the XXX pics. Now, if I do this in bing, even if I turn the safe search off, the safe search is still forced on.
I have everything setup like everyone else in here with rate images by url and whatnot.
I have a ticket open with fortinet, but was curious if anyone else here was having the same problem.
For the 'whatnot', are you using deep scanning? Also, is 'Allow Chunked Bypass' enabled or disabled in the Protocol Options Profile?

yes we have deep scanning enabled.
I do not have enable chunked bypass checked. Do I need that checked for safe search to work properly now?
No, the opposite, in fact. Chunked bypass should not be allowed. Otherwise, an initial attempt to change Safe Search settings could be blocked, only to have the next attempt succeed.
PM me the ticket number if you wish. I can look it over to see if there's anything I would add.
