reverse proxy values available on the virtual server
I wanted to know if there are reverse proxy values available on the virtual server
I have a linux reverse proxy server that I want to delete.
and I 100% wanted to use FortiGate VIPs in its place.
There are values like this to set on VIPs:
ProxyPass / http://xxx.xxx.xxx.1/ connectiontimeout=43200 timeout=43200 Keepalive=On
ProxyPassReverse / http://xxx.xxx.xxx.1/

ProxyPassReverse is to rewrite a http header sent back from a back-end server, right? I don't know such thing on FortiGate. But FortiWeb does that.
Same for keepalive and timeout.

Yes exactly.
I mean exactly this.
on fortiGate I can handle this. applying a WAF part to the affected rule or am I confusing things???
in other words.
can I solve the problem with just my FortiGate only??

FortiGate's WAF is not so advanced, I didn't see the features you are looking for on FortiGate. If you are looking for an advanced WAF/ReverseProxy then you need FortiWeb.
