replacement message for an expired account FAC

Hi

Is it possible to configure a message to inform the user his account no longer exists?

eg user puts in his credentials and receives  a message saying that the username doesn't match the data base or no account info for those credentials

Also can you configure the FAC to email a users warning him that his account is about to expire prior to his this being deleted?

This is not supported for security reasons as it would allow an attacker to identify active users.

Currently we email to say the password will expire, but not that the account is going to expire (as there is nothing the user can do about this, it is under the administrators control).
