renewal of fortinet 300 expired last year

Hi,

We had fortinet 300 which has expired last Nov 2017 as we were not using  it.

Now we would like to renew, can it be renewed from this date Nov 2018

Based on the document Dave Hall posted, below section would apply to your case:

"What would be an example of renewing a contract after more than six months had elapsed?

Should a contract be expired more than six months, the start of the renewal service period will be six months before the new renewal date. For example, if the expiration of the service contract was August 31, 2008 and a 1-year renewal is purchased and registered on May 30, 2010, then the start date is effective six month prior (November 30, 2009) and the remaining serviceperiod will be through November 30, 2010."
