Hello, we have a customer with 2 Fortigates, both connected to a Fortimanager (FMG). The Fortigates are not connected to the internet (for security reasons)
Only the FMG has internet connectivity and I have configured the Fortigates to get updated (UTM and license verification via the FMG
Now the customer disconnected the internet feed to the FMG and... consequently , after 3 days the Fortigate license wasn't valid anymore and you could not access the gui anymore.
Restoring the internet to FMG didn't solve it directly.
My question is: Am I correct when I say that the Fortigates first need to have their own internet feed (temporarily) and when validated, they can connect to the internet 'via the FMG' ? So in the end, only the FMG needs internet access, after the Fortigates have validated on their own?
Regards,
Ralph
I have the same problem here. :S
I've try to force update from FMG, but it doesn't work.
Alejandro.
