Hi,
im facing a problem when a Oracle DB tries to communicate with an Application on Solaris OS.
we have a FGT800C with version v5.4.1,build1064 (GA), we configured 2 sub interfaces on a 10Gig port, one with 10.202.4.1 and another 10.202.3.2 as gateways,
as far as network connectivity is concerned im able to ping both Servers are able to ping each other, even when we do a traceroute on both servers and they are going through the correct gateways.
even copying of small files using scp stops and shows Stalled!! on terminal.
i dont think its a bandwidth issue as the both vlans are using 10G and not shared with any other services.
can any one shed light on this issue.
Note:
- I'm not doing any restrictions on Firewall side, everything is permitted.
- the same setup was on a Cisco firewall but we were using different Interfaces and communications was fine, we changed to this firewall to test performance of between the two subnets with 10Gig
Thanks and Regards
Sulaiman
How did you correct this problem.
I have a similar problem, I hava a Firewall en Oracle Cloud (OCI-Classic) and it blocks me RDP (port 3389)
Best regards
