online renewal?

Hello there, In the usual support page, under Asset Management item, I noticed a new link " Online renewal" with the details of fortiguard license due, and renewal on line aka shopping cart by credit card, directly from Fortinet to final customers. I wonder if this a new commercial strategy from the vendor on regarding his own statitiscs of services renewal for certains regions or if this is another trend. Another interesting thing is that the link it is not available for all logged customers at first instance, (maybe a mistake, maybe not) Any thoughts to share here? regards

I see it there as well. Never noticed it before. It' s available under both my corporate and private accounts. The units under my private accounts have never had any subscription services enabled.

Hi Bob, interesting, doesn' t it? I wonder what would argue about this distributors and the partners chain ' platinum' , ' gold' , ' silver' etc regards

I have this, too. It' s certainly easier to use than getting a quote from a partner each year, but it' s harder to negotiate a price with a checkbox :) It was my understanding that Fortinet service renewals were almost 100% profit for the partners and distributors, so I would think this would hurt those sales.
