obsolete objects cannot be removed

Hi all,

I am trying to remove two obsolete objects
( see https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Obsolete-Microsoft-Teams-ISDB-objects-in-d... )

FW1 (internet-service~ame) # show | grep Microsoft-Teams.Published.Worldwide
edit "Microsoft-Teams.Published.Worldwide.Optimize"
edit "Microsoft-Teams.Published.Worldwide.Allow"

When deleting I get an error:
FW1 (internet-service~ame) # delete Microsoft-Teams.Published.Worldwide.Optimize
Internet Service default entry Microsoft-Teams.Published.Worldwide.Optimize could not be deleted.
command_cli_delete:7024 delete table entry Microsoft-Teams.Published.Worldwide.Optimize unset oper error ret=-651
Command fail. Return code -651

How can I resolve this ?
Background info : Firewall OS was at 7.2.7   we upgraded via 7.2.9, 7.2.11 to 7.4.8M
Both objects are not being referenced anymore.

Hey rivm,

this might help for checking against references that FortiGate might still have (for whichever reason).

https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-How-to-Check-Referenced-Objects/ta-p/19481...
Additionally, run the command
diagnose debug config-error-log read
Example output:
FGT # diag debug config-error-log read
>>> "end" @ global.system.replacemsg.spam.smtp-spam-emailblock:failed command (error -56)
>>> "config" "system" "cluster-sync" @ global:command parse error (error -61)
>>> "set" "summary-proto" "smtp" "pop3" "imap" "http-get" "http-post" @ root.dlp.sensor.sniffer-profile:command parse error (error -61)
Time=2025-07-30 10:05:55 Version=70427.32025 ffdb_map_do_read_flash: ret=-5, FFDB Flash Error: version error
ffdb_map version mismatch, the Internet Service Database will automatically update
Time=2025-07-30 10:10:55 Version=00000.00000 ffdb_map_parse: ret=-3, FFDB Map Error: internal error
to see if there were any issues on the upgrades that concern these objects.
